Maintenance Tips Nordic Spruce Saunas

Initial Treatment:
Protect your sauna shortly after installation with a breathable wood stain or oil to guard against moisture and UV rays.

Exterior Care:
Nordic Spruce benefits from a fresh coat of oil or stain every 12 years, depending on exposure. Monitor for resin bleed during warmer months and wipe clean if needed.

Painting Option:
The exterior can be painted in a colour of your choice using breathable timber paint. Interior wood should always remain untreated to allow it to breathe and avoid fumes when heated.

Cleaning:
Clean gently with water and a soft brush. Maintain good airflow around the base and roof to prevent moisture build-up.

Interior Care:

Wipe benches and walls with a damp cloth or mild vinegar solution after use.
Keep the floor clean and dry using slatted duckboards or mats.
Check heater stones regularly and replace any cracked pieces for optimal performance.

Warranty & Lifespan

All Timbertrove outdoor saunas come with a 2-year warranty for private customers and 6 months for commercial use, covering defects in materials and workmanship. Each Harvia heater also includes a 2-year manufacturers warranty, with the option to extend by registering your product online with Harvia.

With proper care and maintenance, our saunas are designed to last for 10-20 years, depending on the model and environmental factors such as location and exposure.
