The Solas Garden Sauna is one of our most compact models. Its footprint is ideal for most urban and suburban gardens, patios, or deck spaces.

Can I use the sauna year-round?
Yes, The Solas Sauna is fully weatherproof and insulated for year-round use in Irelands climate.

What type of heater can I use?
We recommend the Harvia Electric Heater, 6.0 kW - this will need to be connected by an electrician. Due to it's compact size, a wood burning heater will not work in this size sauna. Click here for Harvia Heater Specifications

Is installation included?

We sell this outdoor sauna either flat packed or we have an installation option within the Greater Dublin Area. 

Maintenance Tips Outdoor Thermowood Saunas

Initial Treatment:
Your sauna should be treated with a UV-protective wood oil soon after installation to protect the timber and preserve its rich tone.

Exterior Care:
Thermowood is heat-treated for durability and insect resistance. To maintain colour, reapply a breathable wood oil annually. Untreated wood will weather naturally to a silver-grey.

Painting Option:
If you prefer a different look, the exterior can be painted with a breathable outdoor timber paint. Avoid painting or sealing the interior.

Cleaning:
Use warm water and a mild detergent with a soft brush. Avoid power-washing.

Interior Care:

Wipe benches and walls with a damp cloth or mild vinegar solution after use.
Keep the floor clean and dry using slatted duckboards or mats.
Check heater stones regularly and replace any cracked pieces for optimal performance.

Warranty & Lifespan

All Timbertrove outdoor saunas come with a 2-year warranty for private customers and 6 months for commercial use, covering defects in materials and workmanship. Each Harvia heater also includes a 2-year manufacturers warranty, with the option to extend by registering your product online with Harvia.

With proper care and maintenance, our saunas are designed to last for 10-20 years, depending on the model and environmental factors such as location and exposure.
