Care information

All sheds are built from high-quality pressure treated timber, so no further treatment is required.
Timber will naturally weather in colour, this is normal and does not affect durability.
Sheds can be painted / stained to refresh the colour if you wish, (wait 4–6 weeks after installation so timber is completely dry).

Description

The Ferndale Sloped Roof, or Lean To Garden Shed is a customer favourite. The sloped roof gives a consistent height inside this shed in comparison to an apex style roof. The sloped roof encourages rain water to run off preventing leaks.

All sheds are designed and manufactured in the Dublin Mountains, all prices include FREE delivery and installation.
Our sheds are made from the highest quality specially selected pine.
Tongued and grooved floor and roof. 22mm thick boards.
All roofs are felted with super green mineral felt.
Sides made with 125mm x 22mm log pine boards (PT finish). Contact us for other board types.
Walls are lined with frame shield which guards against wind, driven rain, snow and dust.
Framing: 50mm x 35mm.Door framing:75mm x 35mm.
Assembled with coated Ring Shank Nails.
All timber treated with Protek wood preservative.
Galvanised hinges and pad bolt.
Skirting fitted to all our sheds to hide 4inch (100mm) solid blocks which are supplied. This will be dependent on a clear and level site.

Pressure Treated Finish

Our premium garden sheds are constructed with the highest quality pressure treated timber for exceptional durability and longevity.

Pressure Treated Timber is treated with a preservative which provides an effective barrier against insects & fungal decay, extending it's lifespan. This process involves immersion in a high-pressure tank which quickly forces preservatives deep into the timber, helping it withstand future damage and exposure to the elements.
This shed has been expertly designed to withstand the harsh elements of outdoor environments, making it the perfect storage solution for your garden tools, equipment, and other essentials. You can rest assured that your belongings will be safe and well-protected in any weather conditions.

Shed removal service

If you purchase a new Timbertrove shed, we offer a shed removal service for an additional cost. We can take your old timber shed down and dispose of it in the correct environmental manner for an additional cost. As a guideline, the costs for removing a standard size shed start from €200.

It is important to note that we will only take away the bare shed and cannot dispose of any contents in addition. The shed must be completely empty before we arrive. If you have electricity in your old shed all wires must be completely removed from the shed before we arrive.
